I promise to listen to every voice note, even the ones long enough to need chapters. I vow not to reply "wow" when you have clearly told me a seven-minute story, to remember which detail was the important one, and to use normal speed when your day has actually been hard. I will share the good snacks, charge the device I borrowed, and admit when your restaurant choice was better. Most of all, I promise to keep listening for the person behind every message and to answer with my whole heart.
