Presence Vows

I promise to put down the world long enough to be fully here with you. I will protect parts of our life from the pressure to be posted, measured, or instantly answered. When a screen offers me a thousand directions, I will remember the one in front of me: your face, your story, your hand in mine. We will decide together when to share and when to keep something just ours. I choose a marriage with room for silence, attention, and a private joy no audience can score.
