Forgiveness Vows

I place our marriage in the hands of Christ and promise to meet you there with truth. I will pray with you when the way is clear and when we need wisdom for the next step. I will listen before I defend myself, ask forgiveness without keeping score, and serve you with the patience we have received from God. I promise to build a home where faith is practiced in welcome, generosity, and honest love, walking beside you for all the days we are given.

As God's chosen one, holy and dearly loved, I promise to clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. I vow to bear with you and forgive you, just as the Lord forgave us. And over all these virtues, I put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

I will praise God with you in the daylight and keep faith beside you in the night. I promise to give thanks when joy comes easily and to pray with you when words are hard to find. I will carry burdens without keeping score, confess my failures, forgive with humility, and seek wisdom before fear makes our decisions. May our marriage be a witness of hope: not because our path is always easy, but because Christ keeps teaching us to love, serve, and begin again.
