Fidelity Vows

I promise to be faithful to you always, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, and I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. May God bless our union and help us to keep this covenant.

In the grace of this covenant, I give myself to you. I promise fidelity in heart, patience in trial, and reverence for the sacrament we enter today. I will pray for you, seek forgiveness with humility, and walk beside you toward God's mercy for all the days of our married life.

I receive you with reverence and promise you daily mercy. In the grace of this sacrament, I will honor our marriage with fidelity, patience, and prayer. I will seek forgiveness when I fail, offer forgiveness when you need it, and walk with you toward God in every season of our life together.

I ask for grace to love you faithfully in the common hours. I receive our marriage with reverence and promise to honor the sacrament through prayer, fidelity, patience, and service. I will seek reconciliation when pride divides us, give thanks when joy finds us, and care for the life entrusted to our home. Before God, I offer you a willing heart for every ordinary day we are given.

I give you my word, my honor, and my faithful companionship. I pledge to cherish your confidence, uphold your dignity, and remain beside you in prosperity and adversity, in strength and in frailty, in celebration and in sorrow. Before these witnesses, I join my life to yours with a willing heart and promise to keep faith with you for as long as our days endure.
